Gwinnett Colleges & Institute provides students with career-focused education that gets them ready for entry-level employment and advancement opportunities.

Six campuses are spread across Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina. Technical programs vary by campus and include training in the medical, business, paralegal, ultrasound, and massage therapy career areas. Other specialty areas include dental assisting, cosmetology, computers, accounting, and personal training.

Each campus is dedicated to preparing college students to be competent, caring, and wholesome individuals serving in teams in a variety of medical and business settings. Available Program

  • Massage Therapy

    Gwinnett’s massage therapy training consists of a well-planned sequence of courses, with each class preparing you for the more intensive information to follow. The curriculum includes training to provide you with the scientific knowledge, manual skills, and mastery of business to successfully become a professional massage therapist.

    Key topics covered during the training include the following:

    • Swedish massage
    • Deep tissue massage
    • Neuromuscular therapy
    • Chair massage
    • Reflexology
    • Sports massage
    • Anatomy and physiology
    • Business and success techniques

    Upon graduation, you will be qualified to seek an entry-level position for a clinical, medical, or deep tissue massage therapist in wellness clinics and centers, spa environments including resorts and franchises, and self-employment.

    Sandy Springs and Lilburn Degree Completion

    The Sandy Springs and Lilburn campuses provide graduates of the diploma programs with the opportunity to transfer the credits awarded and earn their associate degrees by completing additional courses. Students completing the Massage Therapy diploma program at the Sandy Springs campus can transfer their credits into the Associate of Applied Science Massage and Natural Health degree program. Students at the Lilburn campus can transfer their credits into the Associate of Science in Business, Massage Therapy concentration, degree program.
