State of Alaska, Massage Therapy Certification Requirements

To be eligible for certification, you must:

Complete 500 hours of in-class, supervised instruction and clinical work from an approved massage school or program.

Or, you must have verification of successful completion of a Board-approved apprenticeship.

You'll need to pass the certifying exam.

You must complete 16 hours of continuing education every 2 years to renew your license.
